ARTC puts updated plans for Ambleside Loop on display

The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) has advised that from Wednesday 7 September to Wednesday 28 September 2011, an updated plan showing the final Ambleside crossing loop alignment will be on public display at the following locations:

  • Woodside Library, 26 Onkaparinga Valley Road, Woodside; and
  • Stirling Library, 63 Mount Barker Road, Stirling

The final alignment shows a minor design amendment to the crossing loop at the western end, made possible through ARTC’s purchase of property adjacent to the rail corridor at the Beaumont Road end.

A number of benefits can be achieved as a result of the design amendment and these are outlined at the public display.

There will be opportunity for members of the public to comment on the updated plan, through a comments form available at the public displays at both locations.

The comments form and final plan can also be downloaded on the website: www.artc.com.au.

All feedback on the final plan should be returned by no later than Monday 3rd October 2011.
