Where is your career taking you?

ARTC aims to be a strong, efficient, sustainable rail link in the national logistics chain. We are a national company operating across a variety of sectors and intend to continuously improve our business and surpass customer expectations using creative strategies. Our creativity and innovation rests with the imagination and drive of our employees.

Will and Wal

Training and development:
ARTC recognises the contribution of suitably trained and competent employees in the achievement of business objectives. Every employee has an individual training plan which maps out their training requirements over a defined period. Employees and managers discuss their performance objectives and agree what training programs and professional development will assist them to achieve individual and corporate goals.  All training, as far as possible, will be accredited and/or competency based.

Employee bonus scheme:
Eligible employees participate in an employee bonus scheme which reflects how well ARTC has performed against its corporate objectives.

Equal opportunity:
ARTC seeks to continually improve gender balance and encourages applications from females for non-traditional roles. ARTC recognises the need for diversity in the work place.

Employee assistance program:
ARTC offers a free counselling and support service to employees for issues that may disrupt wellbeing and work effectiveness. The service is strictly confidential.

Parental leave:
After 40 weeks of continuous service with ARTC, employees are entitled to parental leave. Nine weeks paid maternity leave at full pay or 18 weeks at half pay is paid to eligible employees. One week paid paternity or adoption leave is payable for eligible employees. Employees are also entitled to unpaid parental leave in line with the National Employment Standards.

Communication:
ARTC’s in-house magazine and employee bulletins not only update employees on projects taking place across the company, but also recognise individual and team achievements.

Social clubs:
Many of our offices have employee-run social clubs that organise events within that office or region.
