“My career has spanned a range of industry sectors and businesses of varying sizes – often undergoing significant change – from professional advisory to retail, property, wine, water heaters, and technology – in Australia and overseas. This diversity has been invaluable in tackling the complexity and dynamics of what we manage at ARTC.”
Andrew is ARTC’s Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for:
- Finance & treasury
- Procurement & contract management
- Business process effectiveness
Andrew’s career started with Price Waterhouse within the fields of taxation, business advisory, audit and insolvency. This foundation of experience enabled him to move on to his first Financial Controller/Company Secretary role for the publicly listed Harvest Corporation Group involved in property management and retail.
A 12 year period with Southcorp was to follow, working in senior management positions with a finance and change management focus. This included the establishment of Southcorp’s global wine business, a three year expatriate assignment as CFO of its American water heater subsidiary in Tennessee, USA and lead roles in Southcorp’s extensive restructuring, business acquisitions and disposals.
Appointments in a range of other private sector businesses have given him hands on exposure to the property, technology, IT and communications industries.
Today, Andrew is also a non-executive director of Tarac Australia Ltd, a Fellow of the Australian Institute Company Directors, and a Member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Finance & Treasury Association.
