Under Clause 8.2 of the undertaking, ARTC has committed to publishing Performance Indicators relating to service quality areas such as reliability, network availability, transit time, track condition and unit operating costs. The indicators will be published quarterly by ARTC (with the exception of unit cost related indicators) with the first quarterly reporting period being the first calendar quarter after the date of the acceptance by the ACCC of the undertaking or varied undertaking (as applicable). Unit cost related indicators will be published annually commencing at the end of the first annual period after the undertaking or varied undertaking (as applicable) becomes effective.
