ARTC North Coast Line – update

Update: 13 November 2019

ARTC continues to monitor conditions regarding train operations on its network in NSW and is working with operators and emergency services regarding train movements and access to the rail corridor.

ARTC would like to thank the NSW Fire Service and many local volunteers for their tireless efforts over the past few days.

North Coast Line (NSW): Following a suspension of the line on 12 November, ARTC’s North Coast line reopened to services this morning (13 November) after track inspections identified the track safe for operations.

Hunter Valley Network: The operation of services on the Hunter Valley Network was temporarily suspended yesterday afternoon (12 November) until just after 7pm due to fires in the region. There was no damage to assets and services gradually began to resume operation from 7:45pm until this morning (13 November).
