Update on ARTC network in NSW

ARTC can announce the rail line between Condobolin and Ivanhoe will reopen on the week commencing 23 January 2023.

Since record breaking flooding, ARTC has been working hard to restore services in New South Wales that were significantly impacted.

On the Broken Hill line, between Condobolin and Ivanhoe, eighteen sites have required substantial repair.

Major works have already been completed at four sites, with works progressing well for the remaining sites.

A diversion through Melbourne is operational for freight services and goods are successfully moving through to South Australia and Western Australia.

With services set to resume on the Broken Hill line in the coming weeks, ARTC reminds motorists and pedestrians to take care around level crossings and observe all signs and signals.
