Wayne is ARTC’s Group Executive Hunter Valley Network, with responsibility for:

–         Commercial and operational performance of ARTC’s Hunter Valley Network

–         Customer service and business development

–         Asset management

–         Compliance and safety

–         Environment and community

Prior to joining ARTC, he was Capacity Planning Manager at the Hunter Valley Coal Chain Coordinator (HVCCC) where he led a diverse team responsible for long and medium term strategic supply chain planning.

In the ten years before HVCCC Wayne held production and management roles at mines in the NSW Hunter Valley and the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. Wayne’s experience includes leading the Operations teams at Port Waratah Coal Services export terminals and as Head of Operations at Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group, he led the development of the coal export facility through the Greenfields phase to sustaining operations.

Wayne excels at leading change within complex operational and multi-stakeholder environments.
