Mark Campbell, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director said the campaign “celebrates the broad and game-changing benefits of Inland Rail for Australia, now and well into the future”.
“The campaign showcases stories from our communities and businesses that are benefiting, or are set to benefit, from Inland Rail,” Mr Campbell said.
“The onset of COVID-19 and the global pandemic has highlighted how critical an effective and safe supply chain is to Australia, particularly given the increased freight requirements of the population by 2030.
“Inland Rail is already delivering significant benefits through employment and procurement opportunities – more than $2 billion in contracts have been awarded, plus another $8 billion in procurement. And at the peak of construction in 2024, Inland Rail will support more than 21,000 jobs.
“This once-in-a-generation project is creating opportunities and transforming how goods are moved around Australia.”
