Ballast loading – Gulgong – 17 to 24 August 2025

ARTC will be loading trains with track ballast near the township of Gulgong, NSW, to prepare for upcoming trackwork.

This work is scheduled from 11:00am to 4:00pm, Sunday 17 to Sunday 24 August, weather permitting. We will be working days only between these times.

We will begin minor preparation work and material deliveries in the lead up to the work. Site clean-up may continue for several weeks after the work is completed. 

Where required, traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around the worksite. 

We will do our best to reduce any disruptions to the community during work and appreciate your patience.
