Essential Track Maintenance, Benalla, Victoria, February/March 2025

We will be carrying out essential track maintenance in Benalla, Victoria, to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
The work is scheduled during the following periods.
- 6:00am Monday 24th February to 6:00pm Friday 28th February, and
- 6:00am Monday 3 March 2025 to 6:00pm Saturday 8 March 2025 weather permitting. We will be working continuously between these times, including some out of hours works.
How this affects you?
We’re committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
