Essential Track Maintenance, Crystal Brook to Long Plains, SA, April, 2025

We will be carrying out track maintenance along the rail corridor, between Crystal Brook and Long Plains, SA to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
This work is scheduled to occur from,
6:00am Saturday 19 April 2025 until 6:00pm Monday 21 April 2025, weather permitting. We will be working continuously between these times, including nights and the weekends.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
How this affects you?
We are committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around the worksite.
