Essential Track Maintenance, Stirling (Mount Lofty) to Heathfield, SA June 2025

We will be carrying out essential track maintenance (resleepering) between Stirling (Mount Lofty) and Heathfield, SA to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
This work is scheduled to occur from
- 10:00AM until 10:00PM, from Wednesday 11 June 2025 until Thursday 19 June 2025, weather permitting. We will be working continuously between these times, including nights and the weekend.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
How this affects you?
We are committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
