Essential Track Maintenance, Wests Road Level Crossing, Werribee, Victoria, April 2025

We will be carrying out essential track maintenance at the Wests Road Level Crossing, Werribee, Victoria to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
Work is scheduled to occur from
- 8:00AM until 12:00PM Saturday 5 April 2025, and
- 9:30PM Saturday 5 April 2025 until 2:00PM Sunday 6 April 2025, weather permitting. We will be working continuously between these times, including weekends and nights.
How this affects you?
For safety reasons, the level crossing will be closed to all traffic, cyclists and pedestrians for the duration of the work.
Traffic diversions will be in place via Browns Rd, Manor Rd and Bulban Rd, Werribee
We are also committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
