Gap Road, Werris Creek – temporary road closure
August 10 - September 30
Heavy rain and flash flooding in early August has caused erosion on Gap Road, Werris Creek near our construction site for the Gap Bridge Replacement project. The road is currently closed to through traffic.
Traffic diversions are in place via Taylors Lane and the Kamilaroi Highway.
At this stage, it is anticipated the road will be repaired and operational by the end of September, weather and construction conditions permitting.
