Level crossing closure – Gateleys Road, Wingen, NSW – 21 and 22 July 2025

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out maintenance at the Gateleys Road Level Crossing, Wingen to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

This work is scheduled from 6:00am Monday 21 July to 6:00pm Tuesday 22 July, weather permitting. We will be working continuously between these times including Monday night.

For safety reasons, the crossing will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the work, with the following exceptions.

Vehicles are permitted to use the crossing during these times (light vehicles only):

Monday 21 July

• 7:30am – 8:30am
• 4:30pm – 5:30pm

Tuesday 22 July

• 7:30am – 8:30am
• 4:30pm – 5:30pm

Alternatively, residents are encouraged to park vehicles on Madeline Street. Our crews will safely escort pedestrians around the worksite to the highway and back when required.

In the event of an emergency, our crews will stop work and place road plates across the tracks to allow vehicle access.
