Level Crossing Closure – Silver Street, Peterborough, SA – 18 to 20 August 2025

We will be carrying out essential track maintenance at the Silver Street Level Crossing, Peterborough, to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

This work is scheduled from 6:00am Monday 18 August to 3:00pm Wednesday 20 August, weather permitting. We will be working during the day only.

For safety reasons, the crossing will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians for the full duration of the work, including nights.

A detour will be in place via Hurlstone Street.

We will begin minor preparation work and material deliveries in the lead up to the work. Site clean-up may continue for several weeks after the work is completed. 

Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around the worksite. 

We will do our best to reduce any disruptions to the community during work and appreciate your patience.
