NSW Super Possession

This is the major annual possession between Sydney to Albury from the 31st of August to the 3rd of September.

Various works will occur across the network which include major rerailing, rail grinding, level crossing upgrades, vegetation control, track tamping, mudhole removals and general track repairs.

Road closure: we will be carrying out essential upgrade works at the Bethungra, Tanyinnah Olympic Highway Level Crossing in the Bethungra area, from 6am Saturday 1 September to 10pm Sunday 2 September 2018.

We will be working hard to minimize any disruptions the work may cause. The Olympic Highway will be closed at the Tanyinnah Gates Level Crossing, between Bethungra and Cootamundra for the duration of these works. There will be traffic management and detours in place.

A detour for southbound traffic will be in place via Cootamundra, Stockinbingal, Temora, Old Junee and back onto the Olympic Highway. A detour for northbound traffic will be in place via Old Junee, Temora, Stockinbingal and Cootamundra. Detour routes will be signposted. The detour routes are expected to add an additional one hour of travel time.
