Track Maintenance: Mile End to Salisbury (SA), 3 to 5 October 2026

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out track maintenance between Mile End and Salisbury to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
This work is scheduled from:
- 1:00pm, Saturday 3 October to 3:00am, Sunday 4 October 2026, and
- 6:00pm, Sunday 4 October to 6:00am, Monday 5 October 2026, weather permitting.
We will be working continuously between these times, however disruption will not be constant across all worksites.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
We’re committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
