Track Maintenance, Port River Rail Bridge, Port Adelaide, SA.

We will be carrying out track maintenance along the Port River Rail Bridge (Port Adelaide), to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
This work is scheduled to occur from
- 9:00PM, Monday 26 May 2025 through to 7:00AM, Saturday 31 May 2025, weather permitting. We will be working night shifts from approximately 9:00pm to 7:00am each night.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
How this affects you?
We are committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
