Track Maintenance, South Boundary Road, Hamilton, Victoria, March 2025

We will be carrying out track maintenance for the level crossing on South Boundary Road, Hamilton, Victoria.
This work is scheduled to occur between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Thursday, 6 March, weather permitting. We will be working continuously during these hours.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
How this affects you?
For safety reasons, the level crossing will be closed to all traffic, cyclists and pedestrians for the duration of the work.
Traffic diversions will be in place via Coffey Street, Lodge Road and Mount Napier Road.
We’re committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around the worksite.
