During April 2015, significant infrastructure damage and operational disruption was caused by
severe weather events impacting the Hunter Valley, northern coast and other parts of the ARTC
network, the full costs of which have been appropriately reflected in the 2014/15 accounts. ARTC
has worked cooperatively with its insurers to mitigate the financial impact of the damage and service
interruptions.
