Providing Rail Infrastructure to Support Gunnedah Basin Growth

This presentation will outline the broad thrust of ARTC’s strategy for increasing capacity to the Gunnedah Basin and the current state of planning.
The focus will be on the Muswellbrook – Narrabri line. – Extensive works are also underway south of Muswellbrook to ensure capacity on that section of the network.
ARTC’s key objective remains to ensure track capacity is not a constraint on growth.
ARTC also remains committed to the principle of offering maximum value for money to the coal industry.
