Hunter Valley rail track provider, Australian Rail Track Corporation has welcomed Nick Greiner’s appointment as independent facilitator for the Hunter Valley coal chain.
David Marchant, ARTC Chief Executive Officer, said: “If Mr Greiner brings transparency and fairness to the logistic determinations of the coal chain, and his public and private sector experience shows he can, then he will assist in breaking log jams and extracting greater efficiencies all through the Hunter Valley, from mine head to bulk carrier.
“As an independent, he can take a broad and overarching view of the logistics of the vital, multi billion dollar coal industry, which will be of real value to the industry itself as well as the regional, State and national economies.”
