Derailment at Pura Pura in VIC
At 19:35 last night a train heading from Melbourne to Adelaide derailed near the Emu Creek Bridge at Pura Pura in Victoria.
Approximately 24 wagons derailed.
This resulted in damage to approximately 800 metres of track.
ARTC management are at the scene.
Australian Transit Safety Bureau investigators are en route to the scene.
No repair or recovery can commence until they have conducted an initial investigation.
