Unlocking the full potential of rail as part of an integrated national supply chain was a key focus at the SCT Customer Summit today.
CEO Wayne Johnson and Group Executive Development Jade Hooper attended the event with other members of Australia’s freight and logistics industry at SCT’s Altona terminal in Victoria.
“It was a reminder of just how powerful it is when industry comes together,” said Jade.
“We had the chance to connect with familiar faces and meet new ones – sharing ideas, challenges and opportunities.
“The behind-the-scenes tour of SCT’s facility was a real highlight and the insights from VECCI (Victorian Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry), together with ARTC’s on the future of transport, sparked some valuable conversations.
“Events like this remind me – it’s not just about freight, it’s about the people, the partnerships and the potential we unlock when we collaborate.”
