The Narrabri to Turrawan Line Upgrade (N2TLU) has been selected as a finalist in the “Infrastructure Project Excellence” category for this year’s Rail Industry Awards (Australia and New Zealand).
The project was completed late last year to establish an important link between northern New South Wales, Inland Rail and the Port of Newcastle – facilitating heavier axle loads to improve freight capacity and efficiency for agricultural producers and freight movers.
The annual Rail Industry Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements, innovation and successes of those working in the rail industry. This year’s winners will be announced at a gala dinner in September. View the full list of 2025 finalists
