ARTC has signed on to a new Rail Gender Equity Charter to strengthen our commitment to equity and inclusion across our organisation and the broader rail industry.
Our CEO Wayne Johnson attended a launch event last week alongside more than 40 organisations from across Australia and New Zealand, signing the Charter led by the Australasian Railway Association.
As an early signatory, we’re proud to be helping set the standard for fostering inclusive, respectful and equitable workplaces across the rail industry.
The Charter recognises that gender equity is the foundation for safe, innovative and productive workplaces. It includes commitments to fair recruitment, equal career opportunities, supportive policies, strong executive leadership, and building inclusive workplace cultures where people feel valued and able to be themselves.
