Essential Track Maintenance, Balmattum, Victoria, March 2025

We will be carrying out bridge and track maintenance around Balmattum, Victoria to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
This work is scheduled from 6:00am Thursday 20 March 2025 to 6:00pm Monday 24 March 2025, weather permitting. We will be working continuously between these times, including Saturday & Sunday night shifts
Our contractor will be in the area during standard working hours prior and post this period to undertake site preparation & site tidy up activities.
How this affects you?
We are committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around the worksite and at both Balmattum Siding Road and Wilbrahams Rd, Victoria.
