Hunter Valley Track Machine Works: Gunnedah to Muswellbrook , NSW

This is to provide information specifically about track machines operating in the Hunter Valley (grinding). Track Machines will be working on the track from Gunnedah to Muswellbrook from Thursday 10 October to Sunday 13 October.

To maintain the track, the machines need to be constantly working around the network, including at night. We understand they can be loud and disruptive at times to our community. The machines look similar to trains but move at a slower pace, around 2-15km/hr and generally do not work in an area for very long.
