Level Crossing Closure, Murtoa, VIC – 9 June to 12 June 2026

We are upgrading the Thomas Road Level Crossing in Murtoa to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
This work is scheduled from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily, from Tuesday 9 June to Friday 12 June, weather permitting.
For safety reasons, this crossing will be closed to all road users for the full duration of the works.
Detours will be in place with signage onsite to safely guide road users around the worksite.
Please take these delays into consideration when planning trips.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
