Level crossing closure, Old Turrawan Road, Narrabri, NSW – 23 to 26 September

We will be carrying out track maintenance at the Old Turrawan Road Level Crossing, Narrabri to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

This work is scheduled from 6:00am Tuesday 23 September to 4:00pm Friday 26 September, weather permitting.

For safety reasons, the crossing will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians for the full duration of the work, including nights, and a detour will be in place.

Heavy vehicles that typically access Old Turrawan Road from the north will be redirected to the southern entry via the Kamilaroi Highway. Stop/slow traffic control will be in place on the highway to ensure the safe entry and exit of heavy vehicles at this southern intersection.

Access to Narrabri West Public School from the north will be maintained.
