Level crossing upgrade: Condobolin, NSW – 10 August to late October, 2026
Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is upgrading the level crossing at Kiacatoo Rd, Condobolin, to improve safety for road and rail users.
This work is scheduled from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday 10 August to late October 2026, weather permitting.
Our work pattern will be ten days on, four days off for the duration of this project.
This upgrade will install boom gates, flashing lights and bells to reduce the risk of collisions and near misses.
We will let you know before we activate the new level crossing equipment.
We’re committed to reducing the impacts of our works wherever possible, including:
- Containing our worksite away from the road
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.

This level crossing currently operates with signage only. Until the upgrade is complete, please:
- Stop. Look. Listen. Think.
- Obey level crossing signs and traffic controllers
- Take extra care when crossing.
