Sefton to Berrima major possession – 27 February to 2 March 2026

Wewill be carrying out track maintenance between Sefton and Berrima to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

This work is scheduled to occur from 10:30pm Friday 27 February to 2:00am Monday 2 March 2026, weather permitting.

We will be working continuously between these times in some areas. Other sites may experience increased noise for a short time as track machines move along the rail corridor.

You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.

Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around worksites.
