Track and Level Crossing Upgrades – Moss Vale

We are doing essential maintenance & upgrade work to the railway level crossing on Suttor Rd, Moss Vale. The level crossing will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian access between the dates mentioned and there will be road closure and detour in place via Argyle St. More details about the closure and detours will be advised via electronic traffic screens.

We’re aiming to get this done quickly and safely but unfortunately there will be some disruption and it is noisy work. Rail repair works involving heavy plant and machinery, welding and grinding will be undertaken during this. Thank you for your patience while this important work is undertaken.

When: 4pm Friday, 9th December to 3pm Thursday, 15th December 2016

• ARTC will be undertaking track and level crossing upgrades in the Moss Vale area, between 9 – 15 December.
• The track upgrade work will occur from 9 – 12December, involving excavation work and will generate some unavoidable noise.
• The level crossing on Suttor Road will be closed to all vehicles from 1600 hours on 9 December to 1500 hours on 15 December.
• Works to the level crossing will involve surface upgrade to concrete which will require curing time after pour. Traffic management will be in place during this time.
