Track maintenance: Beresfield, NSW – 16 May to 19 May, 2026

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out maintenance in Beresfield to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

Work involves lowering our track at Beresfield Station to better align with the platform and improve accessibility for passengers. 

This work is scheduled to take place from 3:00am, Saturday 16 May to 3:00am Tuesday, 19 May, weather permitting.

You may have noticed we’ve set up site compounds and delivered construction materials.

Any remaining preparation work will continue during standard working hours (Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm, Saturday 8am to 1pm).

When the main works are finished, we’ll be packing up during standard working hours again, until the end of May. 

We’re committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
