Track maintenance – Broken Hill Rail Yard, NSW – 22 to 23 March 2026

We will be carrying out track maintenance within the Broken Hill Rail Yard to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
The works are scheduled to occur from 5:00am Sunday 22 March to 05:00am Monday 23 March 2026, weather permitting. We will be working continuously between these times. The planned works will be limited to the rail yard area only.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
