Track maintenance: Cootamundra to Albury, NSW – 12 to 15 September 2026

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out track maintenance along the rail corridor between Cootamundra and Albury to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

This work is scheduled to occur from 12:00am, Saturday 12 September to  11:59pm, Tuesday 15 September 2026, weather permitting. We will be working continuously between these times in some areas.

You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.

Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around worksites.

Transport for NSW may also be completing works during this time. Visit transport.info/plan to check your route before you travel.
