Track maintenance: King Rd level crossing, Parafield (SA) – 27 to 28 September 2026

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out track maintenance at Kings Road Level Crossing, Parafield to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

The works are scheduled to occur from 10:30pm Sunday 27 September 2026 to 6:00am Monday 28 September 2026, weather permitting.

You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.

We’re committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:

• Watering down work areas
• Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
• Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.

Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around the worksites.
