Track Maintenance – Maroona, VIC – 21 to 29 August 2026

We will be carrying out essential track maintenance to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

The work is scheduled to occur from 7:00am Friday 21 August to 7:00pm Saturday 29 August, weather permitting.

While these works are being carried out, some trains may be required to stop at or across the Helendoite Road level crossing, Maroona, as part of essential safe working requirements.

This may result in the crossing bells activating while a train is stationary.

The maintenance works are taking place elsewhere along the rail network, so there will be no construction activity at the Helendoite Road level crossing.

You may have already noticed minor preparation works and material deliveries taking place in the area, including the establishment of electronic message boards.
