Track maintenance – Newport, VIC – 11 to 12 April and 18 to 19 April 2026

We will be carrying out maintenance in Newport, Vic, to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
This work will take place in two stages: 10:00pm Saturday 11 April to 10:00pm Sunday 12 April, and: Midnight Saturday 18 April to 9:30pm Sunday 19 April 2026, weather permitting.
ARTC will be working during the day and night during these periods, with Metro undertaking their own works concurrently.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
