Track maintenance: Sefton to Moss Vale, NSW – 11 to 14 September 2026

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out track maintenance between Sefton and Moss Vale to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

This work is scheduled to occur from 10:30pm, Friday 11 September to 2:00am, Monday 14 September 2026, weather permitting.

We will be working continuously between these times in some areas. Other sites may experience increased noise for a short time as track machines move along the rail corridor.

You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.

Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around worksites.

Sydney Trains may also be completing works during this time. Visit transport.info/plan to check your route before you travel.
