Track maintenance work – Sefton to Berrima

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out track maintenance along the rail corridor between Sefton and Berrima to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

This work is scheduled to occur from 10:30pm Friday, 5 December to 6:00pm Monday, 8 December 2025, weather permitting.

We will be working continuously between these times in some areas. Some areas may experience short periods of concentrated noise as track machines move through the corridor.

You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation work and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.

Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around the worksite.
