Western Victoria Rail Maintenance Shutdown

We will be completing essential track maintenance and improvement works during a major rail maintenance shutdown in August between Gheringhap and Serviceton VIC.

Work will be completed at numerous locations across Western Victoria and will comence from 6:00am on Saturday 19 August and continue through until 6:00am on Tuesday 22 August 2023. While most work will be completed between 6:00am and 6:00pm daily, there will be nightworks at some locations.

We will begin mobilising to site and carrying out minor preparation work in the days prior to the shutdown work commencing and there will be post work site clean-up in the days following.  All preparation and clean-up work will be completed during standard working hours.
