Essential Rail Maintenance Work, Sefton to Moss Vale, NSW, May 2025

We will be carrying out essential track maintenance along the Main South rail corridor, between Sefton and Moss Vale, NSW.
This work is scheduled to occur from
- 10:00AM, Friday 2nd May 2025 until 2:00AM, Monday 5th May 2025, weather permitting. We will be working continuously between these times, including night works planned at locations throughout the possession, which may affect your area.
Site preparation and clean-up works may be undertaken during the week prior to, and post, the Possession weekend, so you may see an increase in construction vehicles and workers. The preparation works will occur during standard hours between 07:00hrs to 18:00hrs, Monday to Friday.
How this affects you?
We are committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
There may be an increase in traffic management around railway level crossings and rail corridor entrances that also impact the community, these measures are implemented to keep the community and our workers safe.
