Essential Track Maintenance, Pimba, South Australia, March/April 2025.

We will be carrying out track maintenance in Pimba, South Australia, to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
Most of the work will occur during standard working hours. These hours are scheduled from,
- 6:00am Sunday 30 March 2025 to 6:00pm Thursday 17 April 2025, weather permitting.
There will be the need for some night works to be undertaken at the site. These will occur between the hours of 6:00pm to 7am, during this period.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
How this affects you?
We are committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
