Level Crossing Closure, Warnertown, SA – 7 May to 30 August 2026

We are upgrading the Davis Road Level Crossing in Warnertown to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

This upgrade is jointly funded by the Australian Government’s Regional Level Crossing Safety Program (through the Regional Level Crossing Upgrade Fund) and ARTC.

This work is scheduled from 6:00am to 6:00pm daily, from Thursday 7 May to Sunday 30 August, weather permitting.

For safety reasons, this crossing will be closed to all road users:

• 7:00am Monday 11 May to 7:00pm Thursday 21 May, and
• 7:00am Saturday 30 May to 7:00pm Sunday 31 May

Detours will be in place via Delamere Road and Stock Route Road, with signage onsite to safely guide road users around the worksite.

Please take these delays into consideration when planning trips.

You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
