Bridge maintenance: Repton Rail Bridge, Repton, NSW – August to December 2026

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) recently completed emergency work on the Repton Rail Bridge over the Bellinger River to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

While the scaffolding remains in place, ARTC will undertake minor maintenance activities, including cleaning and inspections. These works will continue intermittently until December 2026, weather and site conditions permitting.

Most work will be during standard hours (7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and 8:00am to 1:00pm, Saturdays).

Investigations are also underway to determine if more comprehensive work on the bridge is required. We will provide further information closer to any major work, should it proceed.

A minimum of one navigable channel will remain open for marine vessels at all times, with a clearance height of 5.3. This limit will be place until further notice.
