Rail Maintenance Work, Light River Rail Bridge, Korunye, South Australia

We will be carrying out Rail Bridge Replacement works at the Light River Rail Bridge, Koruyne, to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
This work is scheduled to occur from,
- 9:00PM Saturday 19 April 2025 to 9:00AM Tuesday 22 April 2025, weather permitting.
- We will be working continuously between these times, including nights and the weekend.
You may have noticed we have already begun preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
How this affects you?
We are committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:
- Watering down work areas
- Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
- The movement of materials and machinery on site may result in the generation of dust. We will take practical measures to reduce the amount of dust produced by our works where possible.
