Track maintenance: Sefton to Berrima, NSW – 1 to 4 May, 2026

We will be carrying out track maintenance between Sefton and Berrima to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.

This work is scheduled to occur from 10:30pm, Friday 1 May to 2:00am, Monday 4 May 2026, weather permitting.

We will be working continuously between these times in some areas. Other sites may experience increased noise for a short time as track machines move along the rail corridor.

We are committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including:

• Watering down work areas
• Positioning light towers to shine away from residences
• Limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.

Traffic controllers and signage will safely guide road users and pedestrians around worksites.

Sydney Trains may also be completing works during this time. Visit transport.info/plan to check your route before you travel.
