Track maintenance: Wangaratta to Chiltern – 5 to 19 April, 2026

We will be carrying out resurfacing works between Wangaratta and Chiltern to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
These works are scheduled from 7:00am to 5:00pm:
- Sunday 5 April to Monday 6 April, and
- Saturday 18 April to Sunday 19 April 2026, weather permitting.
We will be working during the day only.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up will continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
